just wondered the average cost of keeping ur rs on the road, ive had to replace the gearbox 550 quid, clutch 150 quid (both due to uprating the power) and a new dizzy 110 quid on my s2, not bad for 2 years of ownership and its a daily driver too

dont get me fookin started

sofar my new one's cost about 200quid but it was all on minor bits

touch wood it wont break anything else for a while

 

I've lost count with mine , somewhere around 5k I would think but that includes a full rebuild when it went bang!

mine isnt even an rs and i've spent loads in the last yr......respray,brakes(pads),new splitter after hitting a grouse at speed and a few other bits and pieces
i darent mention how much it cost over the yr as the missus would kill me

 

Ł3.5k in the last 18 month although Ł650 was on alloys

 

10 Grand since February

some modification in the, but all necessary mods

 

cant belive what some of have spent when i said repairs i meant not upgrading/or replacing worn out parts ie tyres, brake pads just things that have actually broke on ur rs
