Anyone know anything about Savings Accounts?
I'm after some advice on none isa accounts, which is a good saving account to get? is the ING the best? is it better than an ISA?
not better than an ISA because you have to pay tax
ING are certainly one of the best instant access accounts at the mo, A&L will give you a slightly better rate but interest is paid yearly rather than monthly...

ISA is tax free, ING is not
You can contribute up to 3k into a Cash ISA in the current tax year provided you don't have
A. Another cash ISA with another provider
B. A Maxi ISA
You can put up to 7k into an ISA tax free if you use the other element available
Stocks and shares (risky)
Life assurance (Not risky, but steady (read slow
) investment growth
Plenty of tax efficient National Savings products to consider as well
