Below the stereo theirs been a gap there ever since iv'e had the car 18 months ! Thought its time to tidy it up, what would have been there an amp or something ? Does anybody know of anywhere that does panels that fit in this space for a gauge or something ?

mine is exactly the same, i was just going to cut a lump of carbon fibre up and plug it!!!!

Originally there would have been a seperate amp for the stereo in there!
I replaced the one in my 3 door for a pocket thing that is found in many other Sierra models.

 

you could buy a thing for holding general crap, or get your own equilizer, was that not what it was spadge? my mate had it filled with an equilizer, was cool, or u culd fab a bit of metal covered with carbon sticky stuff and house 3 guages i suppose!

In this pic of one of my old cars you can see what the amp looks like that should have been in there

 

I had a pocket but replaced it with 3 guages. Might still have the pocket somewhere Either that or I sold it with my dash!

 

got a bit of metal and a proper boot 'Cosworth' badge stuck on it.

 

Thanks for the idea's & info, their really is no excuse for me to not sort it now.

Maybe concentrate on getting the engine build finished & fitted back in 1st
