Default escos ecu learing

now this info is stated in the workshop manuals..... however speaking to someone in the know this is only true for EECIV equippt cars, the P8 ecus don't loose their drive and idle settings unless reset using a certain procedure.

As in my write up, my co dropped when I did this.
Maybe mine had a problem and learned the wrong info, and all I did was reset the ecu.
The only thing I am sure about is it worked for me!

Stu are you there to confirm or deny this?
