hi all just been reading up on the mfi to efi and noticed that the 90 efi xr3i lump isnt that much different to the frst lump am i ryt in thinking that and that it would mainly be ecu changes needed to turbo it aswell as turbo ect. ?

dont know if ive quite worded this right but i know what i mean lol

 

thibk the bottom end or the turbo lumps have oil injectors, where as the non turbo bottom ends dont.

xr bottom end will be fine aslong as you behave with the boost . will need to sort an oil return from the turbo into the block though
