well i just got my rs rep back from being painted and its looking pretty mint, the only problem is that the front bumper needs another coat of paint but then i might get another one as this ones a lil bit wonky.
oh i forgot it was origionaly a 1.6 sport and all the work apart from the resprays been done by me

hi mate like the way the bumpers are smooth given me some ideas

cheers, i done the bumpers smooth a few weeks ago after seeing a thread about smooth bumpers on here a while ago

 

were the bumpers hard to do thinkin of doing mine and the doors and boot

 

nope werent hard they were just bloody ages sanding then skimming with filler then sanding as you cant use normal p38 otherwise it cracks

wat stuff do i need to get to do the job mate

 

i used fibre glass and this stuff called elastic plastic filler, its just like p38 to put on but takes more sanding ands more plasticy

take the engine out and rebuild it next and at the same time it will be took on a redovery over to the spraters again to have the engine bay done

 

get a rs in there

 

Looks good mate, but i can't help but think that the time and money you have invested in this project could have had you well on the way to a real one?

Good effort though mate, looks brilliant, the front bumper looks a bit 'wonky' as you put it, but again, top work....

 

if i had a proper turbo there no way i cpuld ever insure it atm
