to cut a long story medium length.. me and tony had a thread going for weeks about kicking each others ass at pod - but in the end i'd just driven back from the ring and my car had spats it's cold start injector out of the inlet and tony didn't take his car and got drunk on the day. Was funny tho

dunno was following Brad's M3 on the way back from the ring and just heard eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
so me being an idiot trying to save the engine, dropped the clutch - at which point everything died cos of the air leak. I immediately put my hazards on and headed for the hard shoulder, Brad saw this in his mirror and braked. I had no brakes as engine had stalled remember a bit scarey at the time lol cable ties fixed it

happened not far from tony's actually - think he may have sabotaged it

 

He probably did sabotage it, big sore loser lol

You should of still had a good few presses of the pedal before the vacuum went , your servo may well be shot ive not owned a Mk3/Mk4 thats had a fully working servo

 

lol don't think neither me or tony would have been graceful in defeat
i say he still owes me the krispy kremes


nope, pressed it to try and stop going up the back of Brad and almost nothing happened
we were going pretty fast when it happened though lol!

 

ps as cheeky as i was to tony, think i would have got hammered

 

Next time your in it hold the brake pedal down hard and switch the engine off, if it forces your foot back up the servos fucked. If it was ok you would be able to release and still have a good few presses before the pedal goes hard!

Lol you always got to big it up, just make sure you have a damn good excuse if you should lose
