It was taken too bits cos the adjuster screw was put in too far and fell out of the bottom. so he took it to bits cleaned it all. and put it back together it now pisses fuel into it ie: into the turbo inlet hose. floods the engine when you try to start it. so it pretty dead. he spoke to his brother who is an auto electrician for ford and said you fooked it by taking it to bits and cleaning it...
so gonna try to replace it .. the car started on the first turn of the key before this happened so we deffo think he fooked it..
i have a complete metering unit for sale took it out today. has a bit of a crack where it bolts to the bay but works 100% fine PM if your after it and were talk prices etc
Just got back in from taking it for a proper drive (first time i've done so since owning it) it's amazing how much attention an old motor like rst's get ..
