Has anybody got the answer on how i make the rear bench fit into a cabby, as the interior in the cabby at the moment is crap and i have the RST interior being deep cleaned by the wife as i type..

Or am i just being dumb in thinking the back bench is too wide for the cabby.. it deffo looks it..

 

The bottom will fit but the top is as you say to wide

 

Yeah i found out got the fronts in and the bit your arse goes on in the back just gonna have to put a cover of some sort on the back rest ..the leather looks poop..

 

what seats you fitting??
if its either 88 or 90 spec you should have no bother getting a cabbie seat to match for cheap

if its half leather then thats no biggie either most 1/2 leather is cabbie original neways

i have these half leather cabbie seats to go, also got the fronts but the drivers bolster is very wornout

im after some better fronts for my xr2 now

the pattern is 90 spec but the leather makes it appear darker, they do another style 90 spec where th3 light and dark are reversed too

put a wtd add on here for a cabbie rear seat back be sorted easy enough

 

Cabriolet seats are unique, the only way to fit normal escort rear seats is to bin the speaker pods, which IMO is a right bodge

 

No need to bodge it in i've found a bench just gotta get my ass down there and pick it up..

 

While were on the subject, if anyone should stumble across some Mk3 rear seats with blue pipe, i want to get rid of my nasty red pipe items
