dodgy lights

Default dodgy lights

my lights r playing up as the go off wen they like, but its only MAIN beam. (so im left driving with side lights) think it mite b the fuse box/reley.

any 1 had similar problem?

yeah, happened to me, exactly the same thing, was one of the small white relays in the fuse box, at some point the fuse box has become slightly warped around where this relay plugs in and one of the pins wasnt making proper contact, gave the pin on the relay a little twist with some pliers and presto!!!

i had this problem on my convertible in the end it turned out to be the whole light switch stalk so just got a new one (well second hand) i work nights so it peed me off driving home!!

I had this problem last year, well, my dipped beam just never worked at all
Never did find out the cause,i know it wasnt the actual stalk, i went through 3/4 of them, i just rigged up a seperate switch insted

i had a similar prob,but mine was located to the wire to the bulb holder ,it was manky and brittle,so i had to cut back a bit and re-do some wiring,it gets dripped on through the bonnet vents.
