MK2 escort with ZVH

I have RST2 with ZVH engine almost builed ... but in the future I wish to put that engine into RWD escort. The donnor for that would be MKII as I spotted one for sale. I know that T5 box would be best option for this conversion, but I have problems finding one. Are there any options of other boxes that will coupe with 300 BHP?

the manual mtx75 box from a 2.9 12v granada would be fine.

it's gonna be a nightmare whichever way you do it finding a bellhousing i would thnk

The MT75 gearbox off of a sierra/granada dohc 2 litre bolts straight onto a zetec

. The best bet for RWD is to get a 1.8 zetec flywheel redrilled to use pinto clutches as there is more choice of uprated ones and they are cheaper. You can also use CVH clutches but I don't know what release bearing you would need.
