Survey finds 22% of drivers have urinated in their own vehicle
20 March 2007, London – A new survey into motorists’ habits has discovered that when drivers have to go, they go – whether there are nearby toilet facilities or not.
According to the survey by online insurance broker www.motorinsurance.co.uk, more than one in five (22%) of the 920 drivers polled have urinated in their own cars.
Worryingly, only 14% of respondents have a container at hand.
According to the survey, 40% of drivers are aware that their need to urinate urgently has had an adverse effect on their driving skills, with the hard shoulder the most popular (35%) stop for instant bladder relief.
Half of drivers surveyed (48%) say that more roadside toilet facilities are required, but nearly one third (32%) of us would still prefer to use the hard shoulder than use a roadside toilet anyway!
In addition, nearly one third of drivers (31%) believe that some roadside restaurants actually dissuade them from using their toilets.
Paul Cosh, managing director of www.motorinsurance.co.uk, says that the results give a whole new meaning to a bog standard car:
“It is a pretty shocking indictment of UK roadside service stations and facilities that drivers would prefer to urinate at the roadside, or even in their own cars, than use them.
“And I must admit my bemusement at the 10% of drivers who have urinated in their car, without having a bottle or container at hand,” he says.
“We have yet to receive an insurance policy claim for such self-inflicted vehicle damage, but I do not think that many insurers would accept an “I was desperate” defence as a mitigating circumstance! “

I've thought about it, but would never actually follow through, so to speak.

me n a mate and 2 birds went camping years ago and we had a few bears and we was in the middle of a busy camp site and my mate needed a piss and had a large mcds drink and pissed in that but he filled it up and pissed ova his seats was well funny

thats nasty. i never pissed in my car but i did throw up in my car once whilest driving i spent the following day taking my clocks out and dash apart cleaning it out ,it gets everywhere

I pissed out the back window of ma mates dads scorpio once on the way to newcastle for a piss up, and ma mate the bastard tried to put the electric window up. I shat it(not really) and hurredly pulled myself back inside, but with the shock and confusion I forgot to stop and pissed all over the back seat.
Safe to say there were a few unhappy folk in that motor for the rest of the journey. Thank god for leather seats or I would have been scrubbing them all weekend.

....i have had sperm dripping down a window of an RST in my youth when the girl decided she didnt swallow and thought the window was open 
..plus my and a mate kipped in my camper and he pissed himself thru the night..which was VERY funny with him waking saying fucking hell i am all wet...oh shit i have pissed in my pants ...needless to say i ran seat covers from then on

I had a piss into a bottle the other month when it was really windy
I was stuck in a traffic jam on the M62 in the outside lane and it was dark and i was alongside an artic. I didnt wanna go walking all the way to the hard shoulder just for loads of people to watch me piss all over myself cos it was so windy, so i pissed in an oasis bottle (Wide neck
) and didnt spill a drop
Also (A bit different) i know someone who was pregnant and her waters broke in the passenger seat of the car on the way to hospital
