Here is my XR3i converted to a 2.1 ZVH RS TURBO. It has a full Turbo bodykit, interior and spec. The underneath of chassis is fully wax oiled. Has 10 months mot and 4 months tax. Only needed one weld to pass mot and that was on a bolt for underneath of seat.

Engine has done about 5000 miles and has just recently had another oil change and cam belt fitted. Engine spec is as follows:-
Piper 285T2 Fast road cam,
Unlimited boost chip,
-31 cosworth actuator,
Full stainless exhaust system,
Air box,
laguna splitter,
90 spec and 88 spec spoiler

Also just fitted 3 stealth gauges in the centre vent console on dashbard. These are showing oil pressure, Boost and water temperature (as the standard ford ones are rubbish). Sure there is more to mention but cant remember. Have lots of spares from engine bits, to spare bodykit I can give away with car if offer is good

Thanks for pointing that out fella, I appreciate it. Police have never bothered me, never tuged me etc so I guess what ever it was must be cleared now. It does say above that stop Sign vehicle stolen... then says no so no sure what it means. Thanks again anyway

Just out of shear curiosity.. If its just a normal Xr3i.. how come the number plate comes up as a full Rs Turbo ?

doesnt sound good to me a sure a seen the same problem on here a couple a months ago with a red series 1 that was in fact a xr3 but had a rs turbo id not taking anything away it is a cracking car though

If you look at your picture you have put the number plate in as F779 (which is xr3i) the number plate on the car is F799.....which is an rs turbo which i have put in..

i've just clicked. I didnt realise till after i got the car that the plate was 1 number different to log book. My uncle runs a garage and did me a hpi on both plates which came up clean and the chassis numbers match the paperwork. I got new plates for it now (proper ones). no idea why??? i can only assume the last plates were done before you had to produce I.D etc and was mis-spelled.

so how long has the car been running with incorrect plates? Is the mot and tax still on the old incorrect reg then?

 

no i changed them when MOT ran out so tax/mot/log book etc all match now. Bit of a co-insidence that it was an RS turbo reg. Was a 3i when i bought it

 

whats the bhp and what gearbox?

 

pmsl would of been funny as feck if the rsturbo plate you had got nicked or similar, you would of been carted off down the nick

hoping to get it rolling roaded this month and also get a pod time in. It currently has a 3i gearbox believe it or not. i killed a turbo box and xr2 box. this is still going strong so fingers crossed.

heres another horrid thought, have you got the right reg on your insurance for this car? if not you will get paid nish if end up having to claim

 

Yeah im insured on the correct reg but I changed the plates so it was legit.

The last guy must have been throwing money away as it wasnt a turbo haha
