The fluffy black heatshield stuff that always goes scruffy that sits on the bulkhead attached by a star clip, is this replaceable with something very similar, mine was good but I had to change my bonnet cable and now it looks terrible-what have people done when theirs needed replacing

I will answer my own query then
I used satin black aerosol and it came up quite nice-well worth the proce of a can of paint
