Default are thes injectors suitable?? *please look*

I have been sold these injectors off of ebay, he is sure they came from a working 200bhp rs turbo as he is currently breaking it but the ends of them look very long and they have no spray nozzles to speak of
Can they be used, the other problem is they have had there part number rubbed off so i can't check that way

Chris as i said those clips on the top are suspect, im pretty certain they won't fit in the fuel rail with them on!

They blatantly come out of a car down the scrappy! And hes sanded the number off when u asked for a part number!

It'd be worth looking into the flow rate of them, what is a C20XE?

The 2.0 8v vauxhall engine?

2litre 16v engine mate, more commonly known as a redtop i think.
very good engines but they only have 150 odd bhp so i'm guessing these won't flow anywhere near 200bhp worth

Hmmmmm, well either way, i'd look into the flow rate, they are going to be an improvement over standards but not the beiges as we know them.

I expect if you propose it to the seller like that he will probably agree with you and award the money back.

Have you asked him where he acquired the injectors and why the part numbers are sanded off?

And lastly, you got your EFI manifold yet?

i'm sure they will be better than the standard blues but its not the point, there worth about half wot i paid from um a
They came outta a frst that he was breaking which was running a 195 chip so they probably will work just not aswell as the proper beiges would i guess.
i've got a complete frst efi inlet manifold thanks mate
with the rail, injectors and all the sensors/plugs etc in place taken off of frst and known to all be working

Right..........get the injectors, and try and fit them into the EFI manifold, im pretty sure they wont fit with those clips on, and if they dont, they obviously havent been in a FRST engine have they

c20xe = vauxhall 2.0 16v 155bhp (n/a)
c20let = vauxhall 2.0 16v 200bhp (turbo)
20seh = vauxhall 2.0 8v 130bhp (n/a)

top two are both red tops but its like a xr3i to a rs turbo one is just low comp with a turbo

Nice one i was getting confused over that.

Do the earlier red tops with coscast heads have the same engine number as the later ecotechs?

also the coscast head was only found in early astra gte with a engine number of 20ex (no c because it never come with a cat) the way you can tell if it is a coscast head it will have it under number 2 exhaust port also wont have a core plug in the head near the dissy
