Spent Friday night putting the gearbox back in a mates Pug 205 so he could do the event. He had just had a new Gripper diff fitted, but we hit problems with the driveshaft length so had to pull the entry

yep Dave Holland was doing it with the other 2 driving mk1 escorts.
he was about when rallying was first invented
them escorts went and sounded good but the car for me was the
Gartrac mk3 escort it used to be driven by Gwyndaf Evans
(no the other Gwyndaf!!!!) and used to go to Ireland doing the
tarmac over there so it was nice to see TSALTA motorsport
has got it and its looking great.
had a peep at the deep blue mk2 with a WILCOX n/a cosworth yb
that car sounded amazing,and the driver was giving it some welly
was good by the watersplash,the later cars though the field always
entertain by way of enthusiastic driving.
