Here is my mate’s red Series 1 RS Turbo, has only been resprayed a few years ago along with the full cream leather and custom made suede roof, the first picture was taken at last year’s Ford Fair show and then the second one was parked next to my black RS Turbo.

 

The S1 look's very cool in red. I don't have any love for the grill/light combo though makes it look like a Maestro.

 

looks mint mate, but sorry the front looks gash. his car though, as long as he is happy who gives a fuck

 

I know I'm not too keen on the front grill/light combo would look better standard.

Any more pics or history on it? Did he paint it red?
Not keen on the front neither, but can see the benefit of removing one of the inner lights.
Can add this into the non-white section now.

Hi that’s where I got the picture from but the other one was taken by me, I think it’s running about 190bhp, I agree with a lot of people I don’t like the front grill/light, he has had the car for about a good 4 to 5 years and he’s always into to his ford’s especially series 1’s, haven’t seen him for a while last time we spoke is when he told me his other series one in white this time with the standard grill and lights is still off the road because he’s dong a resto work done to it and apparently he has it stored in a barn he’s not bothered how long it stays because he also owns an m3 and a runner about. He does try and attend to some of the rs car shows with me in the past and will be coming with me to the santa pod next month

 

Do you have pics of his other car or know the reg?
Was the car red when he bought it and can you get him to email any other pics to you?

 

Haven’t seen the white series 1 for about over a year now and can’t remember the number plate haven’t got any pictures of it but if I do see him around I will take some pictures of his RS with my phone and send them to you.

Was originally white when he bought it then had it resprayed in red and had the underneath done to it as well I don’t have any more pictures of his RS, and I don’t think he has any internet access and if he did I don’t think he bothers with the Ford RS websites, I think he should be bringing it to Santa pod next month when we go up there.
