Mate of mine at work has one, and been speaking to him about probs etc on my car

So was gonna have a play on motorway, rolling start from say 30-40 .. see what they do?

I reckon he will trounce me...

Any thoughts?

i had a play with a gsxr 750 in my 300 ish bhp saff and i got owned lol hope that helps had him of the line for about 1 .5 seconds then bye bye bike

Stu.H what spec is the zvh ?

thundercats arent particularly fast bikes mind, they have a detuned yamaha r6 engine, having said that theyre not slow by a long shot.

you didnt stand a chance with that bike John, pinned throttle on even a 600cc bike will have your ass handed to you in most things ha ha
a 400cc on CBR RR will have a std cossie on the quarter, and stock litre bikes will do 10sec quarters. What bhp and box you got Stu? You should fair better against the old thundercat as its not so racey

Add another 80BHP to my car [like Stu'd] and slow the R6 downa bit [Thundercat] and it'd be much closer though!!

 

btw I posted the vid to show how much faster the bike is not that fact my car kept up at all!

Ahh, now, the problem here you see is that you have a shonky old 4x4

If you had a PROPPER cossie, ie 2wd , with your power, 600's would be chicken feed in a sraight line, 750's would be more on par

1000's will still make you look silly whatever you drive unless you have 500+ though

 

I know some one of here who believes a 4 or near 500bhp 2w/d Cossie would lick an R1 from 70 mph to 150 in a straight line race

 

...thats why i said...back roads.... ....me pal with a R1 says mine will give it a good run for its money...even in a straight line......
