Default VW technicians or anyone in the know with VW engines...

Maybe a silly question but what is the proper way to remove the spark plugs in a VW Golf MK4 1.6s engine non 16v. Its a 1999.

It has the inlet manifold in the way! Now do i remove this or is there a way to do it without reomving it?

Can't remember.....but sometimes theres small cutouts in the manifold inbetween each runner so that you can fit an extension through then put the plug socket on.

All done.

Wasn't to bad a job either but i think it would have been impossible without a universal joint or similar.

Thanks for the advice guys
