I've just finished removing the engine
awaiting its new rebuild & more BHP
From looking at the engine bay it certainly doesn't look like to hard a job if you want some pic's while engine is out i can take some for ya

it uses 4wd mounts and just custom box sections for the chassis mounting
and the prop shaft was shortened and balanced it uses full E30 M3 running gear and Diff

I've heard rumour from a couple of people that he killed it

Ginge - it was a pain in the arse to do the job, never again, so much fabrication and head scratching to get it all in there in a reasonable sort of fassion

However, fitting a cossie lump into an E36 would be so much easier

The propshaft wasn't shorted as such, its the BMW propshaft complete with the nose piece from the Cosworth propshaft allowing it to mate to the cogbox
