grooved discs help
i had grooved discs fitted to my car all round a short time back,i dont have a photo to hand but im sure theyve been put on back to front.........what i mean is left and right wrong way round so the groove is facing backwards........anyone got pics of correct and non please
as im pretty sure they will warp easily if not on right and maybe do the pads quicker too.........thanks in advance

some vanes in the middle of the disc are directional to work better like AP and Brembos - imagine your disc as a sandwitch of the 2 sides - I'm taking about the vanes in the middle - cheaper discs - these are usually just straight so it does not matter but on something like an AP they are angled to work better and draw air through the disc more cooling them better. If you put these round the wrong way you are making it much harder for the air to be drawn through. See what yours are before worrying about the grooves - they are probably straight though but check.
na they arent any decent make,i just bought off ebay, think they are just standard and been put through a laith
dont slag only bought them as seemed a good price with the redstuff pads for running my car in...............lol

Like said above. The direction of the 'grooves' on the face of the disc doesn't matter, it's the fins inside. If they're straight, don't worry. If they're angled towards the front of the car they're the wrong way round..
exactly phil good point
