Default Why paypal taking a fee amount...

just got £51.. Fee Amount: -£1.93 GBP & i just got £30.. sent & Fee Amount: -£1.22 GBP

So nows that £49... for a crappy d500 & £28 for a rc truck tsais exhaust


Im being robbed

Only asking because 2 weeks ago they didnt take a fee.. is that selling tax thingy kicked in yet? you know about ppl making money & living off ebay..

Pet hate of mine, I avoid paypal at all costs (no pun intended) just ask for postal orders.

So far as I know, they always make a charge (flat fee + a % of the total amount) when you receive a payment, and another for any transfer to the bank unless you move more than £50.

Sending payments is free though.

Paypal have always made a charge for using them - it's not a new thing. There's a flat rate charge, and a percentage charge.

Paypal's standard rate fee is 3.4% plus £0.20p for each transaction

Merchant rates start at 2.9% plus £0.20p, and then drop to 1.4% plus the £0.20p

Its not just paypal, its happening fucking everywhere now and it TAKES THE PISS

I went for a meal tonight in a restaurant and got fucking charged for it, I filled up with petrol and they made me pay them!
Fucking scandalous!!!!


What is this country coming to????

You dont get charged a fee if the bidder has the money already in his paypal account and has transfered it to you but you do if he uses paypal to transfer money from his card/bank account to you. This could be why you didnt get charged in the past as they've always taken a percentage otherwise.

and I have to pay pay pal fees and pay to take customers credits cards as a merchant,and as a business the banks charge me too to have my money

Just need to find someone to supply me with a cluster of 20 servers and unlimited bandwidth to run it from, but for some reason all the people I phone are trying to CHARGE ME for doing so!

These cunts are everywhere now, people trying to make a living and stay in business etc, its a disgrace.
