Bloke on the RS Owners club forum posted this:-
"On my way home last night saw a smashed Buggati Veyron being dragged onto a flatbed recovery wagon outside Shepperton near Chertsey.
Had chat with friendly plod man who said the driver aquaplaned at 100mph+, hit the verge and took off and hit another car.
No one hurt luckily, but the car is trashed.
The driver though did not own the car, it was his brothers and it would seem he was not properly insured .
Local Kids now scouring hedges for very expensive souvenirs.
Didn't have a camera with me to record the event. But other people did take a few pics so i am sure some will appear in the press/tinternet soon.
The driver looked suitably glum."
So that's the location & cause of accident sorted, probably.

"Hardly surprising though is it. Conpletely unsuitable for British roads, and we all know how bad VAG group cars cars are when it comes to damping and poor chassis design."
