Default What "super clubs" in london?

was thinking along the lines of getting everyone down to the capital for a big one, but i dont know enough of the big clubs. i havent ever really ventured out of W1 to be honest.

anyway, what clubs have we got down here that would suitably impress?

whats ministry like?

Great plan Jim.

Make sure you put airport and train details on too, cos driving to London from here is a real drain as well you know...

Ministry is a good club actually, always get a good set there but layout isnt much to write home about as theres only two rooms and nothing 'sepcial' in comparison to say Syndicate. Defo worth considering though.

Fabric maybe? though its a little too hardcore for meeting people etc...

Turnmills in Farringdon isnt a bad call, quite a few rooms, and EXCELLENT tunes. But heard Stu say he thought it was cramped on saturday at syndicate, compared to most London clubs that was empty in comparison

Good idea jim

i think to suit everyone your gonna need more of a comercial sort of club. something like equinox in leicester square.
someone correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure its not there any more.

the better clubs ive been to in london are the ones hidden away and smaller. but this wont really suit what your looking for.

there are loads to think about but because there are so many there are many "super clubs" like there is in other places. something like rainforest cafe or cc club might do ya.

but i'd suggest starting around leicester square, there is a lloyds bar not far away and places like yates and zoo bar.

But will PF user want to pay leicester square club prices - costing me Ł17 for two drinks the other week when I was out!

Brighton seems to always have a good vibe going on whenever I've been
It might be a bit too far away though
I find that huge clubs seem to have no atmosphere and too much attitude.
Oh! The Funky Bhudda gives out free shots!!! Might be only on a friday though

id say kingston, as in central london they'll rip the dick off you for a beer, i was in roof gardens in kensington and was a tenner for a stella

Ł30 for 3 shots of sambuca too

plus kingston is only a 10/20 min drive from heathrow

well it dont matter where you go in london your gonna get ripped off!

its basicially gonna be a tenner upwards for entry and no less than 4 quid a drink. what ever your drinking.
but if everyone wants a night out in central london thats kind of what they will have to expect.

Dont think the average clubs round leicester square are gonna hack it cowie. you gotta go Blackpool, fooking loved the club up there. Nothing i can think of quite matches it for layout, rooms, tunes and space!

to be fair there are soo many decent clubs in London, where do you start..

KOKO (ex Camden Palace), The End, SE1 Club, Fabric, Turnmills, Mass, Egg , Sosho

but none of the above are really suitable for a load of car nuts IMO..

Stick to All Bar One, polus a few more bars, then head to the usual visitor locations like leicester square.. If not, Lutons a good night out

ill have a word with my mates, 2 club promoters, and get back to ya, might be able to get us guesties, and other freebies.

also useful for you guys who like the stripjoints, just dont drink though

as for london prices, there the same everywhere, and if you gonna do it, ya gotta do it properly

i must be the only one who dont feel fabrics, its soo dam crowed in there that you end up sitting on the stairs to chill, deffo say camden palace or is hammersmith palace still about aint been since in was 16 though

cross is also a good venue,,, not cause i can walk home from there honest

theres a reasonable club in hanover square thats opposite my old office but i cant think of the fucking name now,,, you can tell i only went there after i was pissed

oh and theres that club off oxford street ombres is it,,,(notice im great with names ) that does pound a drink but FUCK ME it gets hot in there

trying to think where else, think fabrics aint a good idea as its too central and theres no parking BUT if you was to choose fabrics then i say a pub crawl on upper street before would be a class move as i ALWAYS have a pukka night on the piss there ( and thats not just cause i work just off upper street so im on the piss a few times a week there )

if we done the cross then we can go to the walkabout first as thats local,,,, hope they still got there dentist chair there

turnmills i would say rather than fabrics even though ive never been there i know alot of people who go there now rather than fabrics due to it being full or tourists/russians

fuck off, i know what the fucking place is called,,,, its that club in chelsea aint it

must admit when it first opened it wasnt as bad as it is now,,,, the fucking cue is a joke for a start,,,,, then theres the fact they let in the comon folk like you westy,,,,, just shows they lowered there standards

what about chans in walthamstow

OR EVEN BETTER OPERA HOUSE IN TOTTENHAM though DO NOT FUCK WITH THE DOOR STAFF THERE,,,,, they aint playing about like the steroid boys in syndicate who couldnt drop a bloke after giving him 5 licks to the face

Chans

Fabric - tickets up front is a must.. Was there a few weeks back.. Freestylers were playing in room 2.. was a quality night BUT, tried ordering tickets a day before and they were sold out.. doors opened at 9.30 and we are desperately wanted to go.. Normally arrive at 11ish.. But, 9.40 and an hour que

It got proper rammed... which tbh, I prefer it a little less rammed.. but all good never-the-less

How about a night out in Brixton.. down "The Mass"

Dunnoi why Im saying this, not likely I'll go

as much as you laugh about chans,,,,, which i agree is a little classy for a chav like you i agree

theres the day at the dogs before we go that could also be a laugh aswell as parking,,,,, and if we wait till the summer we can all sleep over xrt-si's mums house as his parents live in greece over the summer and he lives within walking distance from chans ( well aint as far walking back when you have had a few smarties )

ginge i seriously considered Chans as when you think about it its not a nice chill out bar, the dogs to go to, a few pubs to go to...and fook all else!

Opera

The place is gonna kinda reflect London to a few members on here so think we should choose carefully!

thing is anything that aint average and touristy aint really gonna be right for the sort of thing jim is trying to plan.

only one i can think of is cc club, but that is pretty expensive. also very strict on the 1 girl to every boy rule.

i was planning on going blackpool but didnt realise anyone was going tbh.
i thought everyone was going to be in dublin
