Default Suspension Question

i've got Gmax shocks and springs i know,,, on my mk 4 golf. only for looks purpose so didn't want to spend too much.

i want to lower it more. will only gmax springs go on the shocks or can i put diifferent make springs on? dont think gmax do a 45mm drop so i need to find different ones.

shocks are only one years old so dont need new ones.

thanx

dont think you can drop it more than 45mm without doing the ARB's

as i believe they foul the driveshafts.

HTH

i have H&R 40mm drop on my golf and to be honest it could probably go lower without fouling the front ARB (Anti-Roll Bar)

Although different manufactures drop different amounts, also i belive the GTI turbo like mine is also 20mm lower than standard mk4's
