My old XR2 Turbo Technics
Just found a shed load of pics of my old XR2, just thought I'd share them with you all

















I had the shell resprayed in a metallic white with a blue pearl, you can just about see it on the pic of the bonnet with the sun shining across it.
The bloke I sold it to lost his licence and has left it sat on his drive for the last 2 years, I drove by it yesterday and its such a waste.
Damn I miss that car

Loads of mods done to it as well, I'll try and find the spec list...

Body: 1987 XR2 in white with a blue pearl, front spotlights removed, de-locked all round, remote alarm central locking, solenoid boot release, bodykit repainted black, bee-sting ariel, Renault Clio rear wiper, de-badged, clear lights all round, LED brake and tail lights.
Engine: 1596cc CVH, Turbo Technics conversion, Garrett T25 turbo, Escort RS Turbo pistons, internals and head, Escort RS Turbo intercooler, dump valve, Piper 285T cam, vernier pulley, re-jetted Weber DTLM carb with 2nd choke modified to mechanical operation, Renault 5 Turbo fuel pump, K&N filter, PCS s/steel 3" exhaust, RS1600i rocker cover,
Transmission: Standard XR2.
Suspension: Lowered on Jamex springs (-30mm), shortened and up rated Jamex shocks.
Wheels: 15" Alpines, front: 195/45 Marshall Powermaster tyres, rear: 195/45 Falken ZE-502 tyres.
Brakes: X-drilled and grooved Maxtorque front discs.
Interior: Series 1 Escort RS Turbo Recaros, drivers 4 point harness, Sparco seat belt pads, rear seats in same colour leather, Lockwood white dials, MOMO Race leather steering wheel, MOMO Raid leather gear knob, Fiesta Festival centre console with white face 2 bar turbo gauge and leather gear stick gaiter, s/steel XR2 badge, s/steel & carbon effect handbrake cover, leather handbrake gaiter, limo black rear windows, s/steel 'XR2' kick plates, Sparco alloy pedals.
ICE: Kenwood KDC-6060R CD headunit, Kenwood 6 disc changer in boot, dash mounted tweeters, Kenwood 10cm KFC-1066 2 way's in doors, Kenwood KFC-6907 3-way 6x9'S in rear stealth shelf, 10 inch Kenwood KFC-WS252 450 watt sub in sealed box in boot, Bass Force 260 watt amp (with electronic crossover) running sub, Sony XM-502X 2 channel amp running 6x9's. Amps installed under custom-made boot floor with perspex panel and neon’s.

If I get my compo money through from work I might go and flash some money in front of him
If I got it back I'd keep the turbo, dump the carbs and put a proper RST lump in there, run it on the T25
