Doesn't have to have had an RST conversion, oil burner or 1.3/1.4 would be just fine.

got a mk4 escort van with 16" mondeo alloys and rs skirts brand new headlights,solid shell battery tray perfect fuse box slight rust,mot'd till october 5months tax just needs a good tidy up,brilliant base for a rs van project Ł500

Decided I don't want an actual 'van' (unless it has a converted single piece rear door) but a Combi van or Estate would be ideal.

Doesn't have to be in Scotland as I'm always travelling about anyway.

Now decided an RST powered one really isn't the best thing for me as what I'm wanting is an economical little load lugger that looks pretty cool.

Well what I'd really like is a Mercury grey RST style 5dr MK4 Estate with black rims, tinted windows and a TD lump.... in reality I'll take the nearest I can get to that

 

Had a look at a Combi in Derby which was advertised in the back of last months Fast Ford the other day....

i have a mk3 3 door estate for sale, it B reg. not mot'd or taxed as its been stood for a while , i fitted a genuine ford series one rs turbo kit to it which needs painting, it has a 1.6 mk3 fiesta sport cvh in it , mk5 1.4 escort 5speed box and mk5 5speed linkage. rs1600i seats fron and back but not the door cards. i have a few spares like carb and xr3i discs and calipers for the front . i was gonna do her up but i cant afford it any more as im in 13k of debt! lol lol lol i think im the 2nd owner from new, she looks tatty but its is only the looks - needs rs bumpers rs grill , all the niggley things really. and doesnt drive but does run . the cv joint is shot which has made a driveshaft fall out or something like that - im no mechanic lol. but yeah she needs a bit of work - its also got spax 35mm lowering springs all round . . needs a set of shocks , the windows need retinting as they are a bad job and one isnt tinted. ummmmmm she had a new front panel fitted due to a vw passat! but the body is good , i have kept her for so long because she'a in good condition bodywise just needs a couple of hundred quid spent to get her minter. i also have some grey velour material for fixing things like seats etc drivers seat bolsters were repaired with this and its a close match i think its a genuine ford product but not too sure and i have a fair bit on a roll - thats got to be worth 50 quid alone. i know these are woth a fair bit as they re rare etc etc but if a genuine offer is made i'll sell her

Got myself a 1990 Mercury grey 5 door Estate. Needs some cosmetics and a touch smokey but mega solid (not seen an untouched Mk4 this good for ages!) and it was cheap!

Saw it and had to do a Glasgow to London trip pronto to buy it... the seller thought I was winding him up saying I was travelling that distance!

Its a basic model dunno wot but will find out,its a g plate am sure again will find out and its radiant pink pmsl.Got turbo interior 88 spec witch is fuckin mint,rs2000 5 spoke polished wheels and its a 1.6 that he's ported and polished the head,fancy manifold and goes ok for what it is.

Needs 2 sills witch he's got and back arches sorted and few dents and scrathes but aint wantin much for it like.Want me to ask him more details and how much he wants?
