PayPal state the following information regarding eCheque... for more information contact them..

An eCheque is an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money directly from your bank account. It's just like writing a cheque, only it is done electronically. When you send money with an eCheque, the transaction will be held as pending for seven to nine working days, until the electronic funds transfer has cleared your bank.

When you use eCheque, you don't have to have a credit card or alternative funding source attached to your PayPal account. In addition, using eCheque means you won't incur credit card debt, since the money comes directly out of your bank account. eCheque is like writing a cheque, only faster and more secure.

E-cheque, mate, i sold a turbo last year off my fiesta to a german, he payed by e-cheque i got confused and sent the turbo thinking the payment had come through, and it just sat for a month saying 'pending'. then after that it dissapeared! so i'm still owed £177 by said german scumbag. wait till it clears then draw it and put it in your bank, then send turbo.
