Default all i wanted to do was convert it to efi... and then put it all in an s1..!!

couldnt leave it alone could i.........
nice sensible newish 1.9, 185bhp, some would be happy...
start looking for efi bits, got every thing i needed for efi, inlet, loom, std head etc, couldnt have a std head tho could i..??!! found this little beauty on ebay only 10 mins down the road

rude not to go n look i reckoned....
turns up at his house, head is sat on a fresh and i mean fresh low comp 1.6 cvh, new everything, paddle clutch, pistons, rods etc etc... turns out engines for sale aint it, lol...
didnt really want to put that spangly new head on my ropey 1.9 did i!!!
anyway..............
so im thinking hmmmm, dont really think fiesta management will be up to this engine, but im on a budget (LOL!!) sod it, cossie looks cheap, not ideal but hey ho... goes onto ebay lookin for loom etc... type in cossie and i see the listing, shouldve ignored it......... mint t34 stage 3 buy it now £300, again, rude not to look......... checked other items fella was selling, end up with a room looking like this, shit...........

picked up a few other bits on the way..........

so, if youre gonna do it, ya gotta do it right aint ya!!
started her today, fingers crossed, out for the summer.... (heard that before!!)

ripped the arse out of it today, plannin on a complete strip of engine bay, repaint bay, front panel etc, then put it all back together.... easy eh!!

how it looked today above and how it looks after today below.........

whole of front suspension is also out, engine n box ready fro dropping then the fun begins!!! got off lightly with bodywork, just a skankin battery tray really n could do with a front panel, looks like its had a bit of a tap at some point, couldve defo been a lot worse!!!!

something im sure we all seen before...

onwards n upwards as they say....

hi mate.
this is a pic of my engine bay, as you can see i have just the rear part of the heater blower cover and i am going to make a smaller front section just to cover the blower and fit a air feed pipe so it sucks in cold air rather than engine air which makes it smell inside the car.
i will make one for mine in about a week then i will make some more and let you know when they are done.
they will make the engine run cooler as the vent in the bonnet can be used to expell hot air
