People who work offshore and do 5 weeks on and 5 weeks off.

Do you get any time off while offshore?

no it's all work m8,
usually 12 hours on 12 off
I did 2 on 2 off
and it isn't a holiday camp!!

My mates out in the indian ocean working an he doesnt, but says theres days where hell just sit infront of a computer doing nothing so it isnt hard work, but on his last trip he done 30 days non stop an thats 12hour shifts.

I'd say its usually 28days max then 28 off.

You get 12hrs off a day while away!

Shit rotations are a dream of mine, i work a year then might get some fucking holiday i normally work 10 hour days then when i am on watch 14 or if the boss is around 16/17 hour days

But it can be worth it
