Default mpg conversion ?

hello all, whats the sum to find out your mpg, i did 150miles on £24.00 i thought was good considering the car and i was doin motorway driving for most of it and not doin much over 70,80 mph

£££ divide by pence per liter, divide by 4.54 to get gallons, then miles divide by gallons.

Spiky, 42.99 mpg then.

rauri, my 93p was for v-power. Think regular is about 84p.

Dont forget its only (more or less) accurate if your filling up, then doing the miles, then filling up again at the same pump. Most people just guess using the gauge and they can be way out.

filled up with optimax then did the 150 miles then filled up again and the bill came to £23 and some thing
