Is it required to remove the inner wheel arch liner? I took the turbo heat shield off and can't seem to get the bolt out of the arch, just spinning. Is there any other way to remove the air box housing without taking the liner out? Cause I bet it's a bastard to put back in!

 

Arch liner has to come out i'm afraid! Good chane to give the arch a clean up when its off!

 

The arch liners can be a complete git to get out due to the clip/screw things being seized and being made of plastic doesn't help. Getting the liner back in isn't to difficult a task.

 

That's why I don't wanna take it off! I'm frightened what I might find lurking under the liner lol

 

i just pulled the airbox untill it split, prob not the best way, but then i am lazy
