Ohhhh Martin....What are you planning for her

Due back in the UK again on 10th March, after spending the last few months in South America (Rio de Janerio.....Ohhhh what fun), just going round the Cape Horn at the moment, and on arrival back home will be driving around the country trying to find the right M5.

Look forward to seeing you and the Cossie at one of the shows.

50k Miles...........OMG, You've been driving it.....

All the best

Jim

Hi Jim!!!

yes i've been using her quite regularly

although once i'm in the new house it'll be tucked in the garage and not come out too much.

I'm having some 1000cc injectors,5 bar map sensor and level 8 ecu fitted....then remapped with a bit more boost

last time i had it checked by Karl it needed the boost turning down to 1.7 bar because the greys just couldn't cope but it still made 420bhp on the rollers

i'll be at most shows in her too oh and she has her airbox back on now

That's basically what Karl always wanted me to do.

420bhp Is still good power, and will still see off most supercars.

I never did any full throttle high speed runs, so the fact that it was running a little lean on full boost will have been ok. I only ever really booted it in 3rd and 4th, and in those gears you were on the limiter in two seconds and you were doing 100mph before you knew it, ..................into 5th and it was only ever at half throttle, so it will be fine.

Did you ever get the handling sorted to your liking.....I would consider going back to the original hubs and bottom arms......, and I still have them in the garage.
