Prob a silly qestion, but I'm hopefully getting a new tailgate this weekend. Will it fit into the back of a 52 plate mondeo hatch? i'll obv fold back seats down.

I got a mk3 escort tailgate in a mk6 escort with the seats down so the mondeo shoud piss it.

 

Will do mate. Its still on the car at the min, but i'll have a good measure tonight. I'm sure that it will go, just don't wanna get there and have to strap it to the roof or summat!!!

On a side note, is it legal to drive down m'way with boot open, but tied closed (if you know what i mean!!)?

As long as the boots tied down you should be ok on the motorway

 

It will fit ,i have had one in mine (estate) ,it looks like it wont ,but there is bags of room pretty sure it will fit in a hatch
