Lee, they have supplied you goods that were not fit for the purpose of which they were purchased. In doing so they breached Section 14 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

Tell them that you are contemplating contacting the local Trading Standards, whatch their arse holes twitch like a pigs eye

When i got my new turbo i wanted a t34 and when i got it back it had the same housing as a t3, i questioned it and was told that it was a larger compressor wheel with the t3 housing which had been machined out to take the larger wheel, was told that it would work just like a t34. It was a lot better than the old t3 but i had never driven one with a normal t34 on so wouldn't know the difference. i measured the i/d on the inlet and found it to be about 3-4mm larger. Have i been mugged off too?

Steve, can you put a pic up of what you got! it sounds that you may have a Stage3 Hybrid T3 which has a bigger comp wheel and housing machined for it and another parts etc BUT it isn't a T34 if that makes sense 2 u! I hope I'm wrong thou!

as with Steve above, this is what it turns out I have...

CTM said it'll hold 24psi all day long

when run in, Harvey Gibbs will be setting it up, so he can have the final word.

as for being conned, it turned out I never paid T34 money, from CTM, they are another Ł250 on top of what I paid.

well, not really. I didnt order it. G Sport (guy doing my car) ordered it.

He said he just assumed a T34 would come as thats what was talked about by CTM, but this hybrid thing has come. I havnt been charged for a T34. The car has been off the road for so long, and no i'm skint, so cant go out a 'buy' a T34 without sorting this one out....I just want it on the road now...

If Harvey says its ok, and it hold boost for stage 3 spec, then it'll do for now

i understand mate, as you've had a rough time with this mota so far, but you got a ground out T3 not a T34 in my opinion.

but if it hold the boost, it's up to you anyway mate, come ova to the northants meet when it's done mate.

yea for how long on a genuine stage3 Cossie THAT is the question

think it's the same when T3's on erst are running different staged Hybrids some use the Cossie T3 Comp housing and front and back wheels for the biggest stage before using a big turbo Escos T34 one(with mods to fit)! think 34's are around Ł500-Ł800 mark @ the moment depending where from and what spec you want!
