ok, let the hilarity begin, ive emailed the dude :-

Dear Sir,
Im interested in the cosworth replica, can you tell me if any of the work has been done ? does it have a whale tail with it or is it just as the picture shows ?

What ICE is currently fitted ?

Do you think I can slot my 2.4 cossie conversion straight in or will I need to change the wiring atall ?

Also finally will the arches need rolled to get my 18" chromes on her ?
many thanks Glen

IMO it is an idea base for a cosworth replica.. BUT you will need a little more than he has stated to make it look like one

Thats just the sort of car I'm looking for, it has a certain 'sophisticated' styling, over and above your average heap of shit ford anyway.More importantly at Ł200 it's the right price for me.

I don't think the other mods are really needed, provided I can get the cash together for some 'neons' and a bit of work on the bonnet, it should do the biz at Mc D's IMO.

Have you fitted neons on your car yet Bbigman2000?

He actualy says it will make a good replica which indeed it will!
It has the right amount of doors and is a cossie colour so a few fiberglass replica spoilers etc and there you have it a Cossie rep It probably won't look much like the real thing but then most Escort Cossie reps don't either! He is selling a blank canvas its up to the purchaser to live the dream
