i used to insure my S1 with HIC, when i first insuered it i was 20, £1600 3rd party fire and theft, 4 years on i pay 750 fully comp

Ive got mine through Endsleigh Insurance and i pay about £230 a year but i am 28 try www.confused.com

If you declare the mod's it will up your insurance and some places wont insure it but then on the other hand if you dont declare them and you have an accident and they find out you car is modified you will get fucked so it's down to you if you tell them or not but give that confused.com a go as they search for the cheapest one's and you only have to put you details in once

never buy 'cheap' insurance it's cheap for a reason.
Join the owners club and get an agreed valuation policy

Them agreed valuations aint worth the paper there written on half the time theres loads on the RSOC board that have had problems with them. There are very good cheap policys out there you just have to shop round to find them and ask what you get on the policy before you take it out.

hic, 800 a year third party, 20, no ncb and no claims fingers crossed. i cant beat that for me

The other half pay's

£600 full comp she is 23 years old with 5 years no claims and also has a agreed value with HIC all mods declared as well.

I am covered to drive it through my own insurance

I have put the RS in the G/F name coz she as 6 years N/C and me as a named driver


£590 full comp with all of my modifications on it

What ya think lads good or what ?

WELL, WHEN MY PE 2.4 COSSIE WENT WALKIES IT WAS INSURED THRU THE
OWNERS CLUB FOR 9600 6 WEEKS AFTER THE CLAIM WENT IN DOMINION'S(AS THEY WERE THEN) ASSESOR PHONED ME TO TELL ME HE WAS PUTTING A CHEQUE IN THE POST FOR £9300 (£300 EXCESS) IT ARRIVED THE NEXT MORNING.
I'D BE AMAZED TO HEAR ANY SUCH STORIES WHEN YOU GUY'S GET ANY
LLOYD'S UNDERWRITERS (THE MAJORITY OF THE CHEAPO POLICIES)
TO PAY UP AT ALL NEVER, MIND AS PAINLESSLY.
