Didn't they only make them in white? Besides of course the Diana's black one and the Datapost car which probably was a XR3i shell and repainted anyhow...
... Oh yes, they did make a cheap follow up versio later called the S2 which I nearly forgot

Would'nt have the S1 in any other colour than white but i reckon mercury grey is a real smart colour for the S2

I vote for white as its the most practical colour IMO and looks mint for longer
remember if the paint oxidize's it will look more white
also no laquer so you can machine polish back to fresh paint
