I have managed to locate a MINT 90-spec trim so looks like I'm gonna be ditching mine, any ideas what price I should put on it???

Its an XR3i trim, but has been full re-covered in BMW black leather The lad who had it done paid £800 for the leather and to have it all hand stitched. It's in absolutely pearling condition (just not to my taste) and has only been sat on for appx 2000 miles. It even has spare headrests for the rear.

The doors are wind down windows but rubber bungs would hide that hole.


What you guys think???

Cabbie back seat is different fella, its not split like the 3i one............. although it could be un-picked and restitched to the cabbie back seat I have available

 

Never new the cabby rear bench was different

I have a mint 88spec 3i trim sitting in the loft if you no anyone for it phil i no its not worth much but might do someone

 

If it fits a range of models, say XR3i 1980 to RS2000 1996 etc, then why not ebay it and set reserve at £225.00p, just a thought.

 

If they were Recaros i'd say £400....... if there not i'd say £150 (and you'll struggle to sell!)

 

I was thinking that John, gonna struggle to rid of it. Thing was, while he was having it leathered, he had a minted 88 spec recaro trim in it, and then sold it for £50 afterwards, proper wanker

 

strip the leather of the fronts and use what u can to cover a new set of recaros mmmm black leather recaros

 

£50, i would of bought them to make a full trim for myself

 

Wutang, won't fit mate, the bolsters are different, and I aint forking out for more BMW leather anyways. If I was gonna do it to recaros I would only half leather them as i love the 88 spec colours

 

do u reckon ul have enough to half leather them then, what about the large pieces from the back if u did that as well

agree though i reckon 88spec and black leather would look very good, i got 90spec and black and i really like it
