DIC pull out of buying Liverpool
SKY SPORTS
The decision comes after Liverpool's board failed to accept the Dubai group's bid on Tuesday evening.
Owner and chairman David Moores and board members met in London to discuss DIC's bid and also an improved offer from American George Gillett.
Gillett had an initial offer rejected in December but upped his bid just as it looked as DIC were set to complete a takeover.

i can only assume we've 'almost' agreed on a better deal....i doubt we'd be in a position to reject an offer otherwise
I'm sure all will be sorted soon
Lets hope the paperwork on the Masher gets sorted before midnight too

Since DIC pulled out, they are not allowed by law to make another offer for 6 months.
George Gillet has had the due dilligence completed in 3 days.
ive heard that david moores told dic that he wanted time to have a look at gilletts offer, dic threw there rattle out the pram, and told him, we will give you 12 hours to accept our offer, david moores told them i will not be bullied into selling liverpool, they withdrew there offer. to be honest its a nightmare, firts we had taksin sinawatra a couple of years ago, then steve morgan, then sheik mo, and now gillett, liverpool is turning into a pantomime. i just wish david moores would come into some money, then we wouldnt need to sell, and it would be happy days.

Somebody Else [ 43 ] [23.63%]
