My mondeo td N reg just in case any one wants to know has this rather annoying habbit of being fine one then behaving like it has a lack of fuel its driving me up the wall i have checked/replaced everything apart from the injection pump as thats gonna cost me have a feeling its whatever the dam thing uses as a lift pump thats playing up.
On idle the fuel return almost puts no fuel out the pipe i have no idea if it should or should not so im thinking the quickest way to find out if it is the lift pump is to fit a elec fuel pump.

Any ideas????????

And no i dont need to be told to put a match to it lol

Any one got a fuel pump thats suitable for a carb not injection that i can borrow to see if i can solve a problem su type or facet will do fine

Right well as no one seamed to have a pump i went to rally design and bought one today and guess what by a process of ellimination it turns out that my diesel head primer pump is leaking air into the fuel system so bought a new one off ebay £14 at least that will sort it out lol
