Mercury Grey Saph
Found these old pics of my old mans one he had from new and sold on in the early ninties.
So standard it even had a rusty original exhaust.
He sold it to some guy in Broxbourne would love to know if its still going.. prob not
obviously it wouldn't have that plate either.
I've looked a few time for pics of Mercury Grey Series 2 he had and pic of the mk6 RS2000 4x4 with the 5 JAR plate on without luck either.
Found the Stratos RS1600i thou

I've asked my doris and she is going to dig it out.. apprently the Mercury Gry Series 2 was D160 UNK but it was stolen so no idea what happened there

cool pics paul, when abouts was the rs1600i photo taken? did your old chap have it and the saff from new?

All from new mate, i'd say that pic was probably about '86
