As the title says ive ALWAYS owned a Mk4 Escort since passing my test ! and im afraid to say im coming upto 30 this year !

Currently on my 4th Mk4 Escort and by far the best car ive had.

First car was a 1.4LX E plate that i did just about everything to , including fitted an XR2 carb , a Mk3 Spoiler , some horrible Halfords square foglights , white dials , clear indicators ... amongst some other mods !

All the cars i have had have been the best colour ! Diamond White ! except one , which was bought as a bargain 61k Mercury Grey number which moved to one side for my current XR3i which i found with 2 previous owners and 41k on the clock ! with the full electric pack including the heated front windscreen.

Since buying her ive added some 16" 5 twin spoke Focus Alloys , RS side skirts , colour coded the car in that lovely Diamond White , fitted a smart silver Cd player , fitted standard Cosworth silver handbrake and gear knob , clear indicators upfront and to the side and debadged the back and side XR3i badges and replaced the rear with a custom " FAST FORD" badge and modern ford badges on the tail and the bonnet, and also had some custom side kick plates done with the same custom texting "FAST FORD" shes also been treated to a K&N air filter and a full Scorpion exhaust ! ... i may have missed a few other bits lol

Mines the Mk4 Diamond White one hers is the Burgendy Eclipse

Both in near mint condition to be fair XR3i has 72k and the Eclipse has just 52k ! ... not bad for a pair of old Escorts

ive just got the pop for spares and the shell it at my mates still the bonus is needing work as well tho ill be putting pics up once ive moved to my new house and started the restos on them lol

 

im on my 3rd mk 4 and had a mk 5b at one point as a run around

first car was a 1.3 bonus 90 (full rs rep inside and out) painted yellow
second car was the mk5b in pink (started its life red)
third car was a silver bonus II (full rs replica inside and out)
and now im on car 4 which is a xr3i rs turbo replica in black

big up the stock model pimping!

ive got a set of five spoke sierra alloys on my bonus and they seem to suit ill get pics

looks good mate but they only 14's aint they? need some a lil bigger minimum 15's id say prefferably 16's :P unless u go old school with the deep dish 4 spokes 13's

 

yeah theyre were a good price ive got a set of mondeo v6 5 spoke alloys ready to go on it when its finished on 20 quid from the scrappy

 

I didn't think the Focus wheels would suit that at all, but they actually look quite cool!

I can remember planning out what i wanted to do before i got the Purrrrfect XR3i ....

I was going to get some Momo Arrows to start with as they were all the rage at the time , then i saw the Focus wheels and knew theyd look equally the Nutz

Just wondering what kind of cash figure you fellas would put on both my XR3i and the missis Eclipse out of intrest. I got both sets of alloys FROM NEW as well paid £450 for my 16"s and had the missis off a New at the time , Focus Zetec for a SNIP ! £150 ! i think ive mentioned everything else above ... I was thinking around

XR3i £1200-1600 ? and Eclipse £650-950 ?
