Default Question on Samco coolant hose kit

Hi Folks!

A mate bought a coolant hose kit from samco for his Focus RS.
The kit also includes the bottom hose in 2 (or in his case in 3????) pieces...
Checked the samco homepage, seems like this is normal?

Anyone got an idea why they do not make this particular hose in 1 piece?

I wonder because normally they do even more complicated hoses in 1 piece. And - by the way - they do not even sell joiners that fit for this hose! ...very strange in my opinion

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have fitted this kit and you need to buy a alloy T piece. I bought my T piece from Graham Goode Racing for about £20 which is a rip off. I suggest you look through the Demon Tweeks cataloge or their online shop and price one from there. Just measure your pipe diameter and buy to fit.

Thanks for the tip... My mate said he searched for a long time to find a t-piece that fits, because it must have two different diameters... (one hose has a smaller diameter)

But I will tell him to search for it on the Demon Tweeks catalogue...

You said you bought yours from GGR - I don´t understand why they do not have it in their list of Focus RS parts on their website???
Seems like they don´t want to sell it

If you phone GGR and enquire about it they will know what you mean and organise to send one out to you.

yep, sure... didn't ment to say that the guys at GGR are fools

I'm sure they will help if my mate would call...
I was just wondering why they don't "tell" customers not to forget the t-piece, because that's extra cash for them

Thanks for the help anyway!
