Default Any reputable RS focus tuning companies around N.Wales area?

Just wondering if any1 knows of any tuning companies around this area?

had my focs rs since last april no probs really current mods include

Bluefinn
K&N Gen 2
Bailey DV36Si
Full Miltec s/s exhaust and decat
Ford Motorsport manifold
full RR tune

Its been behaving oddly the last couple of days, today especially so, as i put my foos down it boosts then on changing gear i get like what feels like serious turbo lag, then a backfire pop out of the exhaust.

Im wondering if its the dump valve as this is known to cause problems with the rs. Has any1 got any ideas? Do you have to keep tuning the car every so often to keep it running properly?

Any info or advice appreciated as im an amateur when it comes to mechanics!

I would have said either Collins or MSD both just over the border, Collins probably closest.

standard plugs as far as im aware lotusilan, im not far from sunny Rhyl cochyn where are you then?

Problem seems to have sorted itself out - i called collins and spoke to a guy called Martin real helpful he seemed to think it could be the dumpvalve causing it, so im considering removing it and putting the standard recirculating one back on.

I'm in Bangor.

As for the loud pop, that's normal if you have a decat. But if its hesitant, then there may be a problem with your plugs. People say oyu shouldn't gap the Denso plugs, but I say bollocks to that, its only coz some tend to man handle them a bit much and snap the fragile electrode.

Have them gapped to 0.7mm, disconnect the battery for 30 mins, reconnect and start the engine. Let it idle for 5 mins on normal idle speed, then for another 5 mins at 3k revs. Take it out for a spin but do not nail it.

Martin knows his stuff well, but there's stuff that not even he has experienced. Some of the FRS engines are very temprimental...
