Hi

Any one know if the 500 exhaust down pipe is different to the standard 3 door one. I have had conflicting stories about it.

The Unique service parts sheets does not list it at all, but a Ford motorsport road and rally brouche says the down pipe is for a 3 door only. Leading me to think there is a different one, i know the turbo is bigger but still doesn't help me.


Any info would be great

i think it is because when i first got mine i was told that they put a retricter in the down pipe so if the 3 door does not have if there your answer

 

5oos have washer welded in downpipe causing more pressure for turbo to spool up faster 3 doors dont need any restrictors as smaller turbo most have stainless pipes on now .
