Anyone know anything about them?

Going to look at a 1993 1.5D today, was wondering if anyone knew what to look out for?

 

Check the electrics are working properly, in fact I'd take a volt meter and test the alternator - cos starters and alternators for them are a absolute Fooking fortune!!!

Other than that i suppose theyre ok. Dog slow though. Personally I hate them.

Almost forgot, if its a 3dr, the body cracks where the rear quater meets the door post just under the window. IIRC a mot fail if not welded up.
