were all strapped in tight into seats &doors shut so theres no chace of somebody falling out the door

 

its strange because it you look inside as it starts to spin theres a solder with a gun aiming out of the far away door hatch hes standing up ,,

then falls to his knees as it start to spin

shite i think unless he's been doing it for 20 - 30 years but then again my mate was on a chopper & it cut out at 20 foot or sumthing so just dropped but no damage was done plus another mate's chopper got hit by lightning last year what was in all the news papers again no damage done

5 or 6 people where killed in a offshore rig chopper 2 weeks ago

the people on the rig saw it crash into the water

and could do fuck all about it

They are generally very safe but i do know a guy who has ditched twice in his offshore career. Its just one of the risks you have to take if you want to work offshore on the rigs. I personally quite enjoy the chopper flights.
