All the light s work fine on my Sierra Sapphire but, the part in the centre console where it tells you the doors are open etc says that I have a problem with all the lights. Any suggestions?

The proublem is probably done to a bad earth, i take it you are still using the standard head lamps.

If it is a bad earth wouldn't the light not work? Everything works fine its just that the centre console thing doesn't think so.
Whats it called by the way?

i no what u mean thought mine were'nt working at first when i noticed the warning light but they still worked
all i call it is warning display module not sure if that the correct name though but everyone always knows what your on about

Now then Dave,
An earth can put on a false feed to your warning lights, this is why the appear to be on.
The thing i can suggest is that you clean all the contacts up in your lights, front and rear (all lamps/contatcs). On the Fords the most common problem used to be the back lights and the spade connector terminals, if they get 'furred up' white/green looking, this can cause and earth putting a positive feed onto the lamps. give them a gooc clean up and a smear of vaseline this will prevent the same happening again.
PS Have you shit your pants yet in that 280BHP RWD cossie yet????
Good Luck

I don't finish work while 8 on weds but I have heard that the module's can cause problems. I have a mate with some spares so will swap that if the cleaning doesn't help.
