This is my red renault 5 GTT turbo that i brought 2 years ago, All the engine work and bits and bobs have been done in my garage. Not gone into the bodywork to deep yet. Just been consentrating on the engine mainly and just keeping it tidy until i can afford full respray!

Above is how it looked when i brought it.

Then i stripped the kits and doors to check for rust and change the fu*ked door pins.

Once the rusty hole was welded up the doors and kit went back on and the whole car was buffed up (Was really dull!)

I got a bonnet with louvres and bad boyed in my colour (which was really lucky!!!

The engine already had some samcos and some shiny bits but looked a bit rough so i set about cleanin it up for the time, Heres a before and after clean!

I'm sure i've seen that car before somewhere! I live near juct 28 M1 but i'm always around notts centre as i work near there

 

i swaped it for a fiesta rs turbo in ripley derbyshire n ive not seen it since it had a flamer kit on it always used to be on when i had it lol.

looks good where did you get the carbon scuttle cover mate? glad to see uve changed the horn...mine sounded like a wet fart echoing in church...

Well the scuttle covers we're in the boot of the car when i brought it but i'm sure there not one off's i think a tuner does them! Try K-tec, bbperformance tuning, or try cbg motorsport he has so much chrome stuff and also carbon i think!

The grill i sold last week for £55 but there £69 from carisma, look ok but don't fit great along the bottom edge!

my old man had a raider when i was little, i can remember banging my head on the roll cage every time i got in, he had it slamed on bbs three spokes proper 90's style, along with the side exit zorst,


cant wait ot get a years no claims so i can look at haing one

Nice looking renault mate here is a couple of mine ive had over the years i still have the white one but its going to be replaced with my series 1 rst.













I miss the red one the most.

 

Must have the same taste! I've always fancied a white 5 and i'd love a S1 RST white with 17" antracite comp MO's Well i can dream for now ha
